Join me at my studio in Placerville, California, for this fun one-day class covering the basics of creating pieces using vitreous enamel on copper.  

Techniques covered will include preparing copper blanks, doming, counter-enameling, different types of enamels (made from glass), grinding, sifting, washing, and wet packing opaque and transparent enamels, the addition of foils and other decorative elements, kiln firing, and finishing your pieces. Examples of more advanced enameling techniques will also be shared. Class will include all materials to complete a pair of earrings.          

No prior enameling experience is necessary.

Class hours will be Friday, March 24, 2023, 9:00am - 4:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break (bring your own lunch).

Total Cost of the workshop is $130, which includes a $10.00 materials fee.
