Join me at my studio in Placerville, California this spring for this intensive two-day workshop, and learn the basics of doing cloisonne with vitreous enamels.

The workshop will provide an introduction to cloisonné on silver. Techniques covered will include preparing, texturing, doming and flashing fine silver blanks, bending and adhering silver wires, a brief introduction to composition and color selection, application of opaque and transparent enamels, color blending, kiln firing, and finishing your piece. Class includes materials to make a beautiful piece of cloisonné suitable for a pendant. Bezel setting for the pendant is not included.

Prerequisite: Enameling Level I, or prior experience with enamels.

Class hours will be Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26, 2023, 9:00am - 4:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break each day (bring your own lunch).

Total cost of the two-day workshop is $260, which includes a $20.00 materials fee.
